I don't know why but white dots keep appearing on my iPad screen, does anyone know the reason behind it and how to fix it?

To remove white dots on an iPad screen, first, check for dust or debris and clean the screen gently with a microfiber cloth. If the dots persist, it could be an accessibility feature or an issue with the screen itself. To disable the accessibility feature (AssistiveTouch), go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch and toggle it off. If the screen is damaged, professional repair might be necessary.

To remove white dots on your iPad screen, follow these quick steps:

  1. Restart the iPad – This may fix minor glitches.
  2. Clean the screen – Use a microfiber cloth.
  3. Update iOS – Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  4. Reset settings – Reset all settings via Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad.
  5. Contact Apple Support – If dots persist, it could be a hardware issue.

White dots on an iPad screen may be dead pixels or dust beneath the screen. Try restarting the device or gently rubbing the area with a soft cloth. If the dots persist, contact Apple Support for diagnosis or repair, especially if under warranty or AppleCare.

White dots on your iPad screen could be due to dead pixels, a software glitch, or dirt. To fix them:
  1. Restart the iPad: A simple restart can clear up minor glitches.
  2. Check for software updates: Make sure your iOS is up to date.
  3. Clean the screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust or smudges.
  4. Dead pixels: If the dots remain, they could be stuck pixels. Some apps claim to help "unstick" them, or you may need to contact Apple Support if it's a hardware issue.

There may be different reasons behind the appearance of white dots on the iPad screen, such as dead pixels, screen damage, or a software glitch. First, you should check whether the problem is hardware or software. Restart the iPad or update the software — if the dots are a temporary glitch, they will disappear. If the dots keep appearing in the same place, they are probably dead pixels, and in this case, it's best to visit Apple Support or a service centre. One step is gently cleaning the screen with a cleaning cloth — sometimes dirt or smudges also appear as white dots.

To remove white spots on iPad screen, one should initially check the screen and clean them softly with micro fibers cloth. In case the dots are continuing, then it may be a screen accessibility feature or the screen itself is faulty. In order to turn off the accessibility ( Assistive Touch ) feature, then go to settings > accessibility > touch > assistive touch and turn off the feature. When the screen is broken additional professional repair may be required.

White dots on an iPad screen are usually caused by stuck pixels or pressure spots. Try gently massaging the area with a soft cloth to see if the pixel reactivates. If that doesn’t help, a software update or screen reset might fix minor glitches. For persistent issues, professional repair may be needed.
