How to fix yellow spot on screen laptop?

I’ve got a bit of a tech issue on my laptop. There’s a yellow spot on my laptop screen, and I’m not sure how to fix it. Has anyone experienced this before, or know any good solutions to get rid of it? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Spots on a battery can develop due to being pressed or overheated. If updates to the display drivers and improved heat management do not fix the problem, maybe a repair or a new screen is necessary.

A yellow spot on your laptop screen is usually caused by pressure damage, heat buildup, or a faulty display panel. First, try restarting your laptop to rule out a temporary glitch. If it’s still there, gently clean the screen to ensure it's not external. If the spot doesn’t go away, it could be internal damage—like a burned pixel or adhesive issue from heat. In that case, you may need a screen replacement or check with your manufacturer for warranty support.
