They said that I would never see more than 720p, guess what I am purchasing I Gbps plan. Who's laughing now?

Should I pick fiber or wifi, which one is better and affordable?

Fiber Internet is a type of broadband internet connection that uses fiber optic cables to transmit data as pulses of light. This is the "pipeline" bringing the internet to your house.

Fiber optic internet is generally considered better than WiFi for high-speed, reliable connectivity, while WiFi is more practical for general browsing and portability.

Congrats on upgrading to a 1 Gbps plan—that’s a serious flex! 🎉 As for fiber vs. Wi-Fi: fiber internet is the type of connection coming into your home (super fast and stable), while Wi-Fi is how that internet is distributed wirelessly inside your home. So, fiber is the better, faster internet source, but for best results, connect high-priority devices (like your PC or console) via Ethernet for full gigabit speeds. Wi-Fi is super convenient but can be slower due to interference or range. In short: go for fiber as your internet type, and use a good Wi-Fi 6 or 6E router to distribute it—best of both worlds!

Fiber internet is better for speed, reliability, and low latency. Wi-Fi is just the wireless way you connect to the internet—fiber can power your Wi-Fi for the best performance.

Fiber internet and WiFi are two different things. Fiber is an internet connection from your service provider—it's very fast, dependable, and perfect for watching videos, playing games, or doing your job remotely. WiFi means that your gadgets use this internet connection without wires. Hence, fiber internet is superior to most other internet types and if combined with a good WiFi setup, it provides you with the maximum speed and ease of use.

Fiber internet is faster, more reliable and with low latency. Wi-Fi is how you connect to internet wirelessly, that is all; fiber can support your Wi-Fi best.
