How to turn off vanish mode on Instagram messages?

My IG chats are vanished automatically, so I want to turn off vanish mode. But don't find any option for it.
Please help me ASAP... to make my chats like a regular state.

To turn off Vanish Mode in Instagram DMs (2025):

1. Open your Instagram app and go to Direct Messages.
2. Enter the chat that’s in Vanish Mode (dark background).
3. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen; release to return to normal chat.
4. Alternatively, tap the chat’s name > Privacy & Safety > toggle off Vanish Mode.

Both you and the other person receive a notification when it’s disabled.

To turn off Vanish Mode on Instagram:

1. Open the chat where Vanish Mode is on.
2. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen again and release.
3. You’ll see a message saying “Vanish mode off.”

That’s it! Your chat is now back to normal.
