White-label software refers to a product produced by one firm but marketed under the name of another firm giving an impression that another firm made it. It is very prevalent in such fields as SaaS, digital marketing, and online stores. As an example, when a firm develops a CRM and permits some other company to place their company logo and branding on it, so they can sell it in their name, then this is white-label. It saves the business time and resources that would otherwise be spent in the development of tech.
