How to tag someone on Instagram on a post or story after posting?

Could anyone please tell me how I can tag someone on Instagram on a post or story after posting?

For a post, you can’t tag someone after posting. You’ll need to tap the three dots on the post > Edit > then tap the photo and add tags. For a story, if it’s already posted, you can’t edit it. But you can just repost it and tag the person using the @mention sticker or text. Bit annoying, but that’s how Insta works

You can't tag someone directly on an Instagram post or story after it's already been posted. But here’s what you can do:

For posts: Tap the three dots (•••) on your post > Tap Edit > Tap Tag people > Add the username > Tap Done.

For stories: You’ll need to delete the story and repost it with the tag.

Tip: For stories, you can also mention them in the comments or send it to them via DM!
