I want to reset Roku TV, but I forgot where I kept the remote and I can't find it anywhere now. Can I reset Roku TV without a remote? If yes, how?

To reset your Roku TV without a remote, try these options:
  1. Use the physical reset button:
    • Locate the small reset button on the back or bottom of your Roku TV.
    • Use a paperclip or pin to press and hold it for about 10–15 seconds until the TV restarts.
  2. Use the Roku mobile app:
    • Download the Roku app on your smartphone.
    • Connect your phone and Roku TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
    • Use the app’s remote feature to navigate to Settings > System > Advanced System Settings > Factory Reset.
  3. Use HDMI-CEC with another remote:
    • If your TV has HDMI-CEC enabled, you may be able to use another device’s remote (like a gaming console or universal remote) to control it.
These methods should help you reset your Roku TV without needing the original remote.

In order to reset your Roku TV without remote control, you will have to find a reset button, and usually this will be a small, sunken in button, either on the back or the side of the TV, around the ports. Hold the reset button down to the count of 10, and the TV will be able to power cycle and initiate the factory reset procedure.

If you don't have a Roku TV remote and want to reset it, you can use the physical buttons on the TV. There is a reset button on the bottom or bottom of the Roku TV (pinhole or normal type). Press and hold that button for 10-15 seconds until the Roku logo appears on the screen again. If you can't find the exact button, checking the manual for your TV model will help. Another option is — you can install the Roku app on your mobile and use it as a remote (if the TV is connected to Wi-Fi).
