That error pops up a lot in Assassin’s Creed games when using DX12. Easiest fix — switch to DX11 in the game settings or config file. It’s more stable for some setups. If that doesn’t help, update your GPU drivers and make sure Windows is fully updated. Also, try turning off any overclocking if you’ve done that. DX12 can be buggy sometimes, so DX11 usually does the trick.
